Company based in Fourways, Johannesburg seeks a bookkeeper/accountant.
Job responsibilities:
- Full Debtors and Creditors function - Including Monthly Invoicing and day to day Purchase Orders.
- Reconcile all supplier and customer accounts.
- Prepare Vat recons and returns and submit Vat 201, Vat turnover reconciliation.
- General administration and bookkeeping.
- Cashbook and bank reconciling.
- Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation and capture journals.
- Reconcile Inter-Company loans on a monthly basis.
- Submit monthly Financial Statements/Management Accounts to Senior Management.
- Prepare Accounts and Liaise with Auditors for Annual Financial Statements.
- Adhoc functions - assisting with administration if and when required.
- Assist in the design of business processes and internal controls.
Job requirements:
- B Com Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years experience.
- Fully functional in Sage Pastel Evolution (not negotiable).
- Market related salary based on experience
