Experienced Guest House Manager required to work at our Guest house based in Mpumalanga, Piet Retief.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- General management and upkeep of the establishment;
- Management of staff;
- Providing professional services to guests from various culture and nationalities;
- Preparing of meals and purchasing of stock;
- General administration such as accounting, ordering of supplies and reservations;
- Monitoring and encouragement of online bookings and reviews.
Requirements:
- Minimum National Certificate / Matric;
- Computer literacy, MSOffice (Outlook and Excel) and Pastel;
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience;
- Minimum 3 years accommodation/ tourist industry experience;
- Good communication, operational and people management skills;
- Be able to deal with unexpected situations;
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (additional languages would be an advantage, but are not a requirement).
