Joinery Estimator and Joinery Drafter

Positions Available:

Joinery Estimator – Responsible for cost estimation, material take-offs, and pricing for joinery projects.
Joinery Draftsman – Responsible for detailed joinery drawings and shop drawings for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities:Joinery Estimator:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects.
Analyze project specifications and architectural drawings.
Source and evaluate material costs, labor, and production expenses.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to optimize budgets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and supplier pricing.

Joinery Draftsman:

Produce highly detailed joinery shop drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar).
Develop 2D and 3D models for manufacturing and installation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Coordinate with production teams, designers, and clients for design adjustments.
Review and verify dimensions, materials, and hardware selections.

Requirements & Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in joinery estimation or drafting.
Post-graduate qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and materials.
Proficiency in relevant software:
- Estimators: Excel, estimating software, and cost analysis tools.
- Draftsmen: AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar CAD programs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work remotely with a high degree of independence and accountability.
