Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions regularly.
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance.
- Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide insights.
- Maintaining and organizing client records and financial documents
- Completed articles (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA).
- A bachelor's or honours degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of tax regulations and relevant laws
Requirements:
- Location: Gauteng, hybrid working model.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- SARS and e-filing experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
- Integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive financial information.
