This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Centurion. The Junior Accountant will handle daily financial transactions, prepare financial reports, assist with budgets, reconcile financial records, and maintain accurate accounting documentation. Additional tasks may include supporting the senior accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in audits and tax preparation. The role requires close collaboration with team members to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting
- Experience with bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial document management
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail for compiling budgets and performing financial forecasting
- Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualification such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with South African tax regulations and financial compliance requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
