Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Maintenance Engineering and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Preform preventative maintenance.
- Ensure technical alignment of business requirements to IT architecture.
- Perform change management related activities.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Ensure quality and integrity of documentation.
- Actively find ways to improve customer service.
- Complete project activities within agreed timelines.
- Conduct Testing. Effective service delivery.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders.
- Ensure reduction in support calls.
- Establish and improve IT services.
- Resolve incidents and service requests according to service level agreements.
- Measure service delivery performance.
- Review IT architecture, design, processes and policies.
- implement policies, standards, processes and procedures.
- Execute processes and procedures.
- Submit reports within required timeframe.
- Co-ordinate and consolidate compliance reports.
- Accurate and timely reporting on compliance issues.
- Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Assist with resolution of audit findings.
- Proactively manage software licenses
- Provide technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
- Implement remedial actions where required.
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
- Diploma Information Technology / Computer Science / Informatics NQF Level 6 Essential
- Bachelor's Degree (3 years - 360 credits) Information Technology / Computer Science / Informatics NQF Level 7 Recommended
- Systems Administration Operational 3-5 year(s) Essential
- Technical, specialist or analytical skills acquired through tertiary education or the equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Office
- Oracle (ERP)/ Microsoft Development Technologies/Stack or any other relevant Development Stack related to this role.
