Our client a large legal firm situated in Cape Town is currently looking to hire a Junior Attorney who has experience in Insolvency Law (Liquidations / Sequestrations) To start soonest DUTIES:
- Advising clients on legal advice
- Case research and prepare case material
- Legal research and legal strategy
- Address situations where a debtor is no longer able to pay its debts
- Manage and advise on assets and stock that need to be sold to pay off creditor debts Protecting the rights of clients and in promoting the cause of justice
- Assist clients with voluntary sequestration liquidation applications
- Managing civil, commercial and criminal law issues
- Manage Litigation & disputes
- Relevant degree completed
- 1 to 3 years experience in Insolvency Law
- Must reside in the Northern Suburbs
- Excellent communication and written skills in Afrikaans and English
