AV Technician Job
AV Company seeking to employ a Junior AV Technician to be based onsite. The position is permanent.
Job Requirements:
· Matric
· 1 year minimum experience in Audio Visual industry
· Proficient in verbal and Written English
· Own transport is preferable
· Hours are flexible, some weekends and public holidays
· On the spot problem solving
· Some computer literacy: PowerPoint, excel, word
· Honest and reliable. References
· Positive attitude
· Team work as well as work independently
· Be in excellent health. Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. Carry heavy objects up and down stairs
· Very presentable. Good grooming. Short hair. No facial hair.
· Be a good communicator. Be able to take orders from all levels of management in our client’s organization.
· Be willing to learn. Have basic ability to set up AV equipment for various events (PA, Data Projectors, Microphones etc.)
Your responsibilities:
· Liaise with clients. Understand their technical needs. Deliver a technical setup based on their specifications
· Complete AV setups on time. Breakdown of AV setups
· You will be on call
· Be a supportive team player
· Offer solutions on the spot to clients
