MRL PRIVATE COLLECTION is seeking a young individual as a junior manufacturing assistant (junior compounder) to be a part of our manufacturing team. We supply distributers with generic fragrances, hair, body and nail care products.
Job responsibilities:
- The manufacturing assistant/ junior compounder will be responsible for:
- Assisting senior manufacturers in the process of manufacturing products.
- Pre-weighing raw materials that are used in the products before products are mixed.
- Follow mixing procedure.
- Taking stock of all raw materials on hand.
- Recording all weights of raw materials used in products.
- Reporting any variances in products mixed and/ final products.
- Ad hoc admin duties
- Month end report.
Job requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) is required
- Knowledge of Basic Maths and Science
- 1-2 years of work experience in a similar working environment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to work under pressure independently and in a team
- Knowledge of scales and weights is a plus
