Junior Credit Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our young and dynamic company as a junior credit analyst. Individual Qualities: must have an eye for detail and be able to multitask must be able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.must be organised and take pride in their workmust conduct themselves with honesty and integrity.must be able to communicate effectively with the teammust be comfortable talking on the telephonemust be able to use own initiative when having to overcome challenges. The individual will be asked to do the following tasks: • Liaise with company references to determine whether the client is in good standing with its creditors. • Perform credit checks on clients and communicate results to the rest of the team.• Manipulate and extract information from bank statements• Liaising with clients to get any additional information needed in the credit process • Liaise with credit committee and report back on findings.• Checking whether contracts were signed correctly Professional requirements:• Minimum 3 year university degree or equivalent. • Basic MS Office knowledge.• Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and concepts.
