- Ideally Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience as a credit analyst in retail/banking environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Analyse credit data to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers
- Conduct credit reviews and credit approvals
- Remain objective and present both arguments and pros and cons
- Manage customer databases and lending limits
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
- Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with credit risk policies and procedures
- Suggest risk mitigating measures for our consumer finance products in line with the risk philosophy of the Company
- Project management i.e. track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered
