Job Description
JOB PURPOSE

The Installation Technician must be able to work unsupervised he/she must have Automotive electrical skills and be able to install tracking and recovery devises, fleet monitoring devices and surveillance equipment to vehicles. Technician must be able to carry out installations on light/ heavy motor vehicles, truck, trailers and machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installation of tracking device into vehicles.
• Installation of Cameras into vehicles.
• Installation of two-way radios into vehicles.
• Basic repairs of tracking devices and diagnosis of auto-electrical problems.
• Ability to conduct current draw tests and provide technical solutions to problems encountered.

Core Responsibilities:

• Installations, testing, and repairing of units.
• Ensure optimal number of fitments per day.

Educational Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Matric/ NQFL4 in Electrical Engineering/Auto Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years vehicle installation experience

Other Requirements

• Valid drivers licence (Minimum Code 8) is essential.
• Clear criminal record is essential.
• Netstar product knowledge
