Symmetry is a business in build mode, evolving, growing, and redefining what investment solutions should look like.
This role is accountable for research & analysis and investment recommendations across asset classes. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researches, analyses and monitors asset managers and strategies.
- Makes recommendations for the selection of investment decisions based on the research process.
- Produce high quality research and insights reports on investment solutions.
- Produce fund peer group analysis output with quality insights (e.g. quarterly screening, manager flags, report back preparation, fiduciary updates).
- Act as key points of access and communication between external fund managers and Symmetry.
- Assist in collecting and transforming relevant information relating to funds, fund managers, market trends, etc.
- Keep the Symmetry team abreast of important market events related to funds and fund managers
- Effectively communicate manager research findings to broader team
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CFA candidate or charterholder, or similar.
- 2 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Relevant knowledge of the industry and fund managers
- Demonstrate strong quantitative and analysis skills
