Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic, physically fit Junior Retail Manager at the Bellville Garden Centre.
Main duties:
- Maintaining standards within the department
- Assisting with the management of staff
- Completing the operational scorecards
- Completing staff KPA’s
- Purchasing and ensuring the stock levels are acceptable
- To be responsible for overall implementation of any specials/promotions
- To manage the customer request book
- To be responsible for price comparisons
- To ensure write offs are carried out daily
Requirements
- 2 years retail experience
- Supervisory experience
- Passion for customer service and staff development
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Must be organised, efficient, creative and assertive with strong communication skills on all levels
- Sound retail business acumen and understanding the drivers of profitability
- Own transport
