Short term junior underwriter position is available at a short term insurance brokerage.
Job requirements:
- NQF 4 (150 Credits) in short term insurance is essential minimum.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- RE5 is essential.
- Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft products and Outlook.
Job responsibilities:
- All relevant tasks related to client services in a short term insurance practice.
- Issue new policies.
- Renewals.
- Endorsements.
- New business quotations.
- Negotiate renewal terms and prepare documentation.
- Checking policies prior to sending to clients.
- Telephonic client liaison and queries.
