We are currently seeking a Web and E-commerce Developer for our Johannesburg office in Glen Marais. The Web and E-commerce Developer is required to work closely with Senior Management of the SA Office and Head Office to facilitate the smooth implementation of Customer Websites in our growing business.
Job requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in website and e-commerce based development
- Experience in API design is beneficial
- Experience in Delphi is beneficial
- Experience in Magento is beneficial
- Strong Usability / UI / UX skills is needed
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and web based development
- Solid understanding of networking tools and technologies
- Strong HTML, Jquery, PHP, CSS experience is essential
- Experience in SQL Server is needed
- Prior ERP software experience preferred, but not essential
- Experience in E-commerce platforms such as Magento ect.
- Must be flexible in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task on a continuous basis
- A team player
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach and relay ideas and focused on knowledge sharing
- Solution and results orientated
Job responsibilities:
- Developing, updating and maintaining our application(s) to ensure compatibility with new business requirements as well as mobile devices features
- Website maintenance and fault resolution
- Full life-cycle development, including technical documentation
- Continuous contribution to enhance team knowledge base
