Job description
Our Client is seeking a Key Accounts Manager to join their dynamic team in the fats and oils industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the regional sales plan to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities across the Distribution, Food Service, and Manufacturing segments.
- Build strong customer relationships, provide ongoing service, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Manage and grow existing and Key Accounts while prospecting for new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams for accurate forecasting, pallet planning, and stock management.
- Ensure all credit applications are processed and assist with AR follow-up.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
- Represent the business at trade shows, promotions, and industry events.
- Provide regular reports on customer activity, sales performance, and market insights.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounts, sales and marketing.
- Must have experience in selling fats and oil in the B2B space.
- Must have FMCG experience.
- Keen interest in commercial sales and trading within essential goods (fats, oils, flour, sugar).
- Basic understanding of sales forecasting, credit processes, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional negotiator and ability to influence.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel.
