Key Account Manager (Meat -FMCG)

A well-established meat processor is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to develop the business by providing excellent customer service, maintaining customer relations, performing sales functions, coordinating logistics and conducting market research, in-line with company goals and targets.

Minimum Requirements For The Role
  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years sales or customer relationship management experience is essential
  • Sales experience within meat FMCG industry will be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills will be required for this role
  • Must be computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be preparedness to work weekends and overtime when required
  • A valid drivers license and willingness to travel is essential for this role
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
  • Developing and maintaining successful business relationships with customers at Buyer to Top Management level.
  • Performing daily sales activities
  • Actively seeking new customers and engaging with potential customers.
  • Conducting regular visits to customers.
  • Identifying new product development opportunities by analysing customer needs and liaising with the Product Development department.
  • Introducing new products to the market.
  • Reporting on KPIs, market activity and current projects.
  • Keeping up with market trends, competitor pricing strategies and company objectives.
  • Assisting with and resolving client queries within company agreed timelines and providing feedback to all relevant parties.
  • Preparing and presenting professional presentations to customers.
  • Managing customer expectations.
