Key Account Manager

Account Manager

Built and strengthen commercial relationships in line with the Regional Sales Vision and Strategy, to achieve the annual goals in terms of volume, sales price, cost to market, margin achieved at cheapest source of supply and market penetration within the assigned area/segment.

Account Management

Initiate and maintain relations with (potential) customers through regular field visits, monitor developments and performance and act as business partner for assigned accounts.

Ensure all steps of the sales cycle (Plan, Discover, Engage, Advance) are covered to reach optimal sales efficiency.

Analysis

Proactively analyze what drives customer's business results and monitor market developments (new technology, competition, ...).

Gain understanding in sector, market developments, clients results drivers, and anticipate customer needs resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth

Develop new customer relationships, detect and realize new business opportunities in cooperation with other functional disciplines (e.g. technical marketing).

Increase of market penetration, and growth commercial portfolio is realized.

Process Engineering

In line with the Business Strategy, monitor technology evolutions in the market and bring in technical expertise to the (pre)sales process and product/service delivery in order to improve customers' manufacturing processes with company products.

Perform technical audits in projects, on installations and/or equipment to promote company products & solutions.

Translate client business needs or improvement opportunities into technically and commercially competitive solutions.

Technical Support & Coaching

Provide technical advice, coaching, training, explanations and information regarding products, services and solutions.

Product Positioning

Provide field input for the development/adjustment of the product strategy, based on process expertise and experience.

Contribution to the product strategy.

Technical Account Plan

Define the technical part of account plans (including objectives, forecasts, and budget).

Monitoring

Monitor market developments (new technology, competition, ..), gather insights and data process & plant analysis, pilot experiences, research, ...

Build and maintain the BU know-how on various topics (e.g. crushing equpment and processes) and share expertise with other functional domains such as marketing, technology, ...
