, Requirements,
- ND in FOOD Technology or Food Chemistry or Micro or SETA equivalent Qualification.
- At least 1 - 2 years experience in a routine food manufacturing environment Laboratory.
- A dairy qualification (S1, S2 or S3)
- Problem solving skills (knowledge of Problem-solving techniques and application in real world thereof.
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Chemical & Microbiological testing on raw materials, in process and final product and
- cleaning chemicals according to lab methods and work instruction.
- Calibration and inspection of test equipment (such as Milkoscans, Cryoscopes, etc)
- Perform analysis accurately and within required timeframes ensuring minimum wastage of
- time and resources.
- Assist in capturing results on QMS and generate reports (such as COAs) as required.
- Follow Lactalis quality & food safety management system requirements and do retesting as
- required including assistance with CCP, CIP tests and monitoring thereof.
- Preparations of chemicals and media as required.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping in Laboratory.
- Routine laboratory work. Follow up with production on samples.
- Swabbing of production areas / equipment as required. Follow all GLP, EMP, NOSA /Safety
- and 20 keys standards requirement.
- Fulfil duties accurate, efficiently, and professional.
- Maintain high level of Non-conformances reporting as soon as results become available, with high level of attention to detail.
