A well-established organisation is looking for an experienced Networking Organiser to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• A relevant bachelors degree or equivalent NQF qualification in Labour Relations or Law.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid experience in a labour relations environment would be a high advantage.
• Experience in project management or marketing campaigns will be advantageous.
• Own reliable transport and a valid drivers license.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for labour relations and the world of work.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan, organise, and implement strategic objectives and projects to expand presence and influence within the metal and engineering industry, as well as within other professional networks.
• Identify, promote, and manage new recruitment opportunities to support the expansion of union membership and professional networks.
• Oversee labour relations and legal processes in both individual and collective labour environments (union and professional network contexts).
• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of union and network structures.
• Manage external labour law processes and attend meetings with members in the metal and engineering industry.
