Team Leaders have the overarching on-site control of their garden project. Working directly with a Landscape Director, the Landscape Team Leader will be charged with the following job roles.
Client and designer communication:
- Always polite, effective and informative with all clients no matter how testing they may be.
- Able to use email and written communication successfully to effectively 'clear' changes with design staff/designers.
Site Management and logistics:
- Site is clean and well organised.
- All tools are clean and properly maintained
- All routes and storage for the movement of materials are organised and clearly presented.
Project implementation from Architectural plans and Garden Designer plans:
- Understanding and interpreting the plans provided for Wilson Lloyd.
- Implementation of designs showing a clear understanding of all materials and methods needed to create high quality long standing gardens.
Management of up to 6 staff per project:
- Ensuring all staff are well presented and punctual.
- Management of Junior staff and understanding their need to learn, therefore spending time to advise and teach.
- Effective communication with staff members where English is their second language.
- Able to verbally communicate disappointment to staff members in a professional manor.
- Skills to create a keen working environment whereby staff members understand their role and can do their job well because you are organised and ahead of their requirements.
Communication with Management:
- Able to constantly identify where slowing/waste in the project may occur and communicating with your Director how to correct and adjust.
- Successfully manage decisions passed from Directors, and adjust your methods to suite.
