This position reports to the Superbalist Head of Product.
The high level
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to ensure prioritisation is continuously aligned to key business initiatives.
- Ensure the individual solutions of the customer platforms (iOS, Android, m-web and web) all work together to the benefit the customer - creating solutions that meet business goals as well as the product strategy of creating an experience that is curated, lovable and intuitive.
- Take initiative to identify critical problems and follow through with identifying solves to those problems.
- Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data to help formulate and scope business requirements - be it for internal build or third party integration.
- Lead multiple cross-functional enterprise development teams through problem statements, validation, documentation, implementation, testing, release and monitoring
- Engage with subject matter experts to analyse trade-offs and resolve priority conflicts
- Ensure relevant stakeholders for specific vertical(s) / roadmap(s) are correctly identified and consulted
- Suggest ideas AND take ideas from the team (use the double diamond and Superbalists Product Playbook) to ensure root cause, collaboration, validation and outcome tracking.
- Take accountability for the overall quality of the customer experience
- Take ownership for managing any direct reports and mentoring them in their career development - ensure direct reports know what they are accountable for, ensure they have meaty and challenging work, what role they play in the vision of the product and how that impacts the business vision.
- Be responsible for driving performance excellence across one or more teams
- Define a product strategy for the customer platform with a high level, master roadmap
- Clearly communicate requirements to UX/UI design resources
- Ensure consistency of design patterns across your portfolio. Use best practice UX and UI to ensure colleague usability of the platform is high because colleagues, like users, appreciate simple and intuitive solutions.
- Sign-off on design solutions (including copy) for internally built solutions.
- Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field with at least 7 years of product management experience or exposure with at least 2 years experience in managing teams.
- If the degree/diploma qualification requirement isnt met, at least 10 years of product management experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities)
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, SQL)
- Experience working with wireframing tools is preferable
