Qualifications
Minimum NQF Level 7 qualification in Project Management and any other commercial subjects.
Experience
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in lecturing within higher education, specifically in project management. Practical experience in this field would be an added advantage.
Distance Learning Facilitation
Must be able to facilitate distance learning using various online tools, including online classrooms, assistive technology, and applications used by the College.

Key duties include:
Academic Content and Development and lecturing
Content creation and design, curriculum alignment, research and innovation, technology integration, collaborative development, assessment design and feedback integration, content review and upate, accessibility and inclusivity, compliance and ethical standards, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Teaching and learning support
Research
General academic administration
Staff training and development.
Academic Governance meetings
Programme Coordination
Educational Excellence
Facilitate in-person and distance learning experiences that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the diverse needs of students. Ensure the quality and relevancy of study materials, assessments, and overall curriculum.
Research and Innovation
Conduct rigorous research to inform programme development, staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in project management, and integrating them into the curriculum.
Student Support and Interaction
Provide comprehensive support to students through regular contact sessions, query handling, and guidance, fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
Quality Assurance
Maintain and enhance the quality of the modules and programmes through continuous review, ensuring alignment with project management accreditation standards and industry benchmarks.
Professional Collaboration
Engage with fellow faculty, committees, professional organizations, and the broader project management community, contributing insights and fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Personal and Professional Development
Pursue ongoing professional development and research in the field of project management to sustain and augment expertise, ensuring the delivery of contemporary and effective project management education.
Administrative and Organizational Oversight
Coordinate various organizational and administrative aspects of the project management programmes, ensuring smooth operation, compliance, and alignment with institutional goals.
The role demands a combination of project management expertise, educational prowess, leadership, innovation, and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of project management professionals. The Lecturer and Programme Lead in Project Management serves as an academic guide and mentor, cultivating a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the project management program at the institution.
