The Wits Business School (WBS) is internationally recognised and accredited. It has spearheaded innovation, teaching, and research excellence in South African and African business for over 50 years. The school is based in the economic hub of South Africa and enjoys a prominent role within the University of Witwatersrand. Our full-time faculty come from 13 different countries; 98 percent of whom are PhD qualified with active research profiles.

The school has approximately 3100 postgraduate students and runs executive education courses for around 1500 delegates each year. Brief Description

Lecturer/Senior lecturer (Business Strategy) (1 Position)

This is a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the development and teaching of business strategy across a variety of post-graduate programmes in the school. In addition, s/he will be expected to supervise post graduate students and participate in leadership dialogues on business strategy.

Requirements: Applicants for the position should ideally have a doctorate in management or a related field; strong research record on business strategy; a proven track record of effective teaching at the postgraduate level; and evidence of successful postgraduate supervision. Candidates with a masters degree in a relevant field (and pursuing a PhD) with significant industry experience will also be considered for this position. Experience in the online teaching environment will be an advantage.
