Key Responsibilities
Corporate Governance Support
- Assist with convening and servicing of board and committee meetings (agenda compilation, minute-taking, resolution tracking).
- Implement and monitor execution of board decisions and resolutions.
- Maintain statutory records and liaise with directors and stakeholders where required.
- Support legal advisory processes and assist in contract drafting, review, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain a database of active contracts, leases, licenses, and agreements.
- Assist with monitoring regulatory compliance and reporting obligations.
- File and maintain legal records and documentation with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate legal communications, assist in mediation or dispute resolution, and prepare reports.
- Conduct legal research to support decision-making and case preparation.
- Assist with ad hoc legal and compliance matters across business operations.
- Support internal policy development, reviews, and implementation.
- LLB Degree (or equivalent legal qualification).
- Admitted Attorney (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a legal or corporate legal support environment.
- Experience with contract management, legal research, and administrative compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal document drafting.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, labour law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional presence and sound judgment.
