Daily supervision of entire Warehousing and Distribution functions at Kroonstad Mill, including stock and equipment, Bulk loading, warehousing, distribution, returns, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of all Warehousing and distribution functions.
- Invoicing, transfers and GRVs on Great Plains.
- Maintain all relevant documentation, check lists and registers daily
- Supervision of all loading including Bran and Bulk.
- Stock Management.
- Attend daily Invocoms.
- Report back on Logistic related matters to Logistics Manager.
- Manage service levels.
- Liaison with national replenishment.
- Co-ordinate monthly/daily stock counts and report on stock management issues.
- Maintain all Premier Foods as well as Site Policies and Procedures and ensuring compliance thereto.
- Supervision and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring compliance to Health and Safety regulations.
- Assist with Investigation of stock and pallet variances.
- Control Staff in a manner which promotes a harmonious working environment.
- Taking or initiating the necessary disciplinary and corrective action steps when required.
- Ensuring that all staff is conversant with their duties and that their productivity levels conform to the job requirements.
