POSITION INFO:
What Youll Do
As a Logistics Specialist, you will:
- Oversee daytoday operations including warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, transport coordination, and reverse logistics.
- Collaborate with service providers to secure timely imports/exports and maintain smooth operational flow.
- Support improvement initiatives using Lean principles to resolve rootcause issues and drive sustainable efficiencies.
- Implement global best practices while tailoring them to local market requirements.
- Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to strengthen the full customer journey.
- Manage operational costs, improve KPIs, and clearly communicate performance insights.
- Conduct audits, implement controls, and maintain a robust, riskmitigated operating environment.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An Honours degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
- 36 years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically in distribution, warehousing, or operational projects.
- Demonstrated achievements in performance improvement, KPI management, or process implementation.
- Knowledge of import/export processes (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with Lean methodologies (advantageous).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- SAP experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A strong customer focus, sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work in both warehouse and office environments.
