Small established law firm based in Cape Town CBD (opposite High Court), requires a candidate attorney who is available to start by no later than 1 May 2018.
Job requirements:
- We are looking for a dynamic, friendly and hard-working candidate to join our team.
- Must have obtained an LLB
- Must also have a Driver’s license with a reliable vehicle
- Strong administrative and drafting skills, the ideal candidate must also be computer literate
- Pleasant telephone manner, good verbal communicator in both English & Afrikaans and strong customer service skills
- Be highly organised & pay attention to detail
- Work pro-actively & use own initiative
- Work well within a team
- Have excellent time management skills & be able to multi-task
Job responsibilities:
- Assist director & associates with administrative duties
- General assistance with administrative duties as required,
- Attend to filing and serving of documents at Court and Advocates when required.
- Drafting of legal documents
- Reception duties including meet & greet customers, serving refreshments and arrange refreshments, as well as the screening and redirecting of incoming calls.
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
