We are looking for a kitchen cleaner in Johannesburg to ensure that the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
Job responsibilities:
- To ensure that at the end of each day the kitchen is clean and tidy, stove and equipment is clean and dustbins have been emptied.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
- Ensure fridges, windows and walls are clean at all times.
- Remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Receive, date mark and store supplies.
- Ensure correct rotation of stock on a first in first out system.
- To adhere to the health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Job requirements:
- Must have minimum 6 months experience in cleaning kitchens preferably in hotels and restaurants.
- Must be able to work late shifts, weekends and public holidays.
