Zone Fitness Kloof and Cape Quarter is seeking dynamic, energetic, goal and sales driven individuals with a passion and drive for the fitness industry to full our vacancy of sales/membership consultant. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Job responsibilities:
- It is the objective and the responsibility of the Sales/Membership Consultant to grow the membership base of the club by selling good quality memberships in an attempt to assist members in reaching individual goals they have set themselves upon joining the club.
- Achieve monthly sales budgets
- Achieve debit order successful run budget
- Achieve cash budget
- Achieve year to date debit order sales expectation of sales manager.
- Achieve attrition and unpaid goals
- Achieve required unpaid % on 1st debit order run
- Achieve required unpaid % on total debit order book
- Achieve daily performance criteria for activity
- Achieve new contract target
- Achieve prospect targets
- Achieve presentation target
- Achieve mastery of selling skills
- Prospect, show and closing skill ratios to be on par with company expectations
- Achieve required skill % for telephone roleplay evaluation
- Achieve required skill % for presentation roleplay evaluation
- Adhere to admin procedures and deadlines
- Complete required service calls
- Effective management of member database and renewal list
- Attend to all member queries effectively. Adhere to walk in and phone in duty shifts
Job requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- At least 2 years working experience in sales (preferably within the fitness industry).
- Computer literacy skills.
- High energy levels and passion for fitness industry.
- Sales and target driven.
- Specific attention to detail.
- Accurate numeric skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Diplomacy in handling irate people.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to work a 6 day work week.
- Preference will be given to candidates living in and around surrounding areas of the club.
