Job requirements:
- Must be willing to work on Saturdays and/ or Sundays.
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
- Desirable: Experience in a customer facing role within a retail.
- Basic math calculation skills
- Retail background and understanding of merchandising and promotion principles.
- Understanding of stock management procedures
- Knowledge of customer service experience
- Planning and organising skills.
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Numeracy skills
- This position is for a probation period of three months, and could result in a permanent position after the 3 months period.
- Salary: R6000 per month negotiable- will be paid per hours worked.
- Please note that the hours will be over a Saturday and a Sunday, and you will receive one day off between Monday-Friday. (More will be discussed during the interview).
Job responsibilities:
- To deliver service excellence through effective customer service,(POS) point of sale and operational activities and merchandising in store that lead to a positive customer experience.
- To effectively execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and effective manner.
- To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collected paying of goods purchased.
- To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
- To make costumers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales.
- To help and suppor customers for any purchasing needs.
