Looking for supervisor

Laser/Punch supervisor ir needed in New Germany, West Suburbs.

Job responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and optimize the activities of personnel in the Laser & Punching department in order to safely produce quality products in the most efficient manner
Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to employees
Review customer requirements and plan for equipment & tooling
Technical reviews
Production planning
Expediting of all orders
Initiate, coordinate and enforce production, safety, and quality systems, policies, and procedures
Train & ensure competency of operators
Ensure that all products meet customer expectations
Ensure that all inspection tasks are performed
Liaise with designer, client and other stakeholders to maximize efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
Provide root cause analysis and execute corrective action plans
Address all non-conformances and ensure timeous corrective actions taken
Prepare clear and concise reports
Manage the performance of all equipment
Equipment maintenance, verification & validation
Create work instructions/ standard operating procedures
Material handling & storage
Ensure compliance to Quality Management Systems

Job requirements:

Grade 12
Tertiary qualification is desirable
Work Experience:
5 years supervisory experience
Laser/ Punching experience desirable
Experienced with different materials

Personal computer, phone. Computer software includes: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint.
Position requires as many hours needed to fulfil the daily and weekly obligations required to carry out the functions.
Working long days including evenings and weekends can be required for this position. Environment is highly pressurized with very tight deadlines.
Speed and accuracy in executing duties are of utmost importance.
