The key purpose of this role is to proactively identify financial, control, and process risks within the Africa Zone. The position involves analyzing, reporting, and optimizing inventory processes to reduce inventory losses and impairment. Additionally, the role oversees stock count execution to ensure compliance with inventory governance processes and controls, while tracking and monitoring all inventory movementsfinished goods, empties, and raw materialsacross all sites in the Africa Zone.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Centralized Inventory tracking and monitoring with performance gaps identified & actions for gap closure followed up
- Inventory Count deployment and reconciliation from the center
- Inventory Process compliance validation and monitoring of risk sites
- Africa Zone Transporter Logistics claims process compliance audited and tracked
- Open Cycles tracked and communicated, coaching intervention where required
- Review effectiveness of Controlled Self-Assessment audit documents for the zone (Covering all areas of inventory)
- Working closely with brewery/ depot finance teams, perform controlled self assessments audits to pre-emptively identify risks
- Support Inventory audits across the Zone as and when required
- Ensure and validate processes are aligned to finance and control requirements in the Zone
- Capability built in the inventory functional areas, ensuring SOPs, OPLs, governance policies & controls are updated
- Monitor alignment of local processes (In country) with all Excellence Programs in the Zone Joint zone owner for LCP Supply Chain Overheads Toolkit, identifying gaps; driving performance and engaging with stakeholders who deliver inputs to the toolkit
- Monitor compliance to existing Inventory KPIs as required to drive performance in all areas of inventory (Finance, Process and Control)
- Review Compliance to existing KPIs Ensure stock posting times are met at all sites - to reflect correct values for planning
- Engage cross functionally with other areas and deliver input to the S&OP process
- Interrogate the veracity of information received from in country teams and ensure data is accurate for reporting purposes

- Bachelor's or post-graduate degree qualification in a relevant field: B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or Econometrics, Finance or Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain, Economics, Accounting Science, MBA recommended
- 5 Years experience in logistics and supply chain management and finance background
- Strong experience in management of finished goods; returnable packaging and/or raw materials management
- Strong knowledge of finance management
- Strong end to end Supply Chain expertise
- Ability to effectively communicate at senior levels up to MANCOM level and able to engage global counterparts
- Band: VIII
