Well established and reputable manufacturing company in durban, specialising in the manufacture of branded high fashion ladies footwear is seeking for experienced machinist.
Job requirements:
- Operating of flatbed/postbed/zig-zag sewing machine
- Stitching of leather and synthetic materials
- Ability to stitch components for ladies footwear (summer & winter range)
- Good understanding and knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and closing room processes
- Ability to meet quality and productivity requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the above occupation
- Matric pass or equivalent qualification and further qualifications will be an addvantage
- Applicants must also be able to work with production team and meet daily targets
- Work under pressure and strive to meet company and customers demands
- Work extra hours if and when required
- Normal hours of work is 42 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 07:00am to 04:15pm; Friday 07:00am to 02:25pm
