MAINTENANCE MACHINE SETTER - PE
Would you like to join a dynamic and leading manufacturing plastics packaging factory? They are seeking an energetic maintenance setter - maintenance machine setter. Able to work under pressure to meet production deadlines. Candidate should be able to work independently and as a team.

QUALIFICATION
- Certificate - N3 (mechanical, electrical or Instrumentation) or higher N qualification essential (trade not required)
- Certificate - Electrician or mechanical (trade tested) Read Seal
- Certificate - Pneumatics, Hydraulics and PLC fault finding
EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE HELD THIS EXACT POSITION BEFORE – 4 years’
- Have proven maintenance experience in FMCG or Mechanical/Electrical
- 2 -5 years’ work experience in a technical or maintenance role
- Experience in Pneumatics, Hydraulics and PLC fault finding and repairs
- Injection moulding - blowmoulding experience
DUTIES To assist the technician to effectively set up machines thereby ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and that we produce a top quality product, cost effectively towards the ultimate satisfaction of our customers’ requirements.
- Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85%
- Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material useSetting machines according to the best practices
- Conducting mould and material trials as required
- Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements
- Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored
- Ensuring top quality products are produced
- Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety
- Assisting with some fabricating in the factory as needed
