Hotel and houseboat company requires a maintenance person (live in position).
Job requirements:
- Applicant needs to be Fully Bilingual and unencumbered.
- General Maintenance of houseboats, hotel, rooms and grounds.
- Experience in electrics, plumbing and boats to an advantage.
- Hotel maintenance: upkeep of gardens, swimming pool and buildings.
- You must be able to change a geyser, fix leaks on water pipes, change light fittings or any other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth operation of the company.
- Houseboat company requires you to have a skippers license to be able to hand over the Houseboats to guests.
- You will also be required to maintain these boats in a good condition and be able to fix small mechanical problems.
- Power boating experience essential.
- Single staff accommodation and meals are part of the salary package.
- Own transport is advisable due to the remote location of the property.
- Driver's licence compulsory.
- We are situated 45km from Swellendam on the Breede River.
