Maintenance System Engineer

We have a vacancy for a Maintenance System Engineer with experience in end-to-end maintenance system design. We are looking for a strong individual with excellent problem-solving skills, able to work effectively as part of a team. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and disciplined.

Your role

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following tasks:

• Be able to conceptually design and specify the overall maintenance facility to support our products at customer premises
• Be able to generate Maintenance Requirement Specification and User requirement specification for the Maintenance facility
• Have a system view/understanding of I & D Level Maintenance facility requirements
• Have a good understanding of how flight line repair facility should operate
• Develop good system/product knowledge of SGD products and be able to specify and design repair and maintenance philosophy and procedures for our products
• Follow a system engineering process to specify the various sub systems LRU Test Benches, SRU Test Jigs etc. for the maintenance facility
• Conduct Design reviews with the various subsystems
• Responsible for the performance of the overall maintenance facility
• Responsible for the maintenance facility FAT and SAT

Your profile

This position requires a Seasoned System Engineer in Engineering who is familiar with customer-based maintenance and repair facilities as applicable to military and avionics environments.

Required skills:

• Demonstrated system-engineering track record of maintenance facility establishment within military and avionics environments
• General knowledge on EW and Avionics products

Desired skills:

• 5 years experience as system engineer in an engineering development environment.
• 5 years experience as system engineer for customer maintenance establishment
• Experience in a military and avionics development environment will be advantageous
• Experience in a customer facing system acceptance roll will be advantageous

Qualification:

• An engineering qualification.
• Formal System Engineering Training
