Join Our Team as a Manager, Internal Audit

Exxaro is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Internal Audit to lead and execute the companys internal audit processes across various business units, subsidiaries, and operations. In collaboration with the Head of Internal Audit, you will play a key role in ensuring that Exxaros activities remain compliant with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and industry best practices.

Your responsibilities will include planning and leading audits, managing the audit pipeline, and preparing comprehensive reports that offer valuable insights for senior management and the Board of Directors. You will lead a team of junior auditors and external specialists, while also providing consulting expertise on systems of control and procedures across the business, especially in the areas of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.

As part of your role, you will ensure the successful execution of the annual and rolling 3-year audit plan, updating it as necessary to reflect evolving industry and regulatory changes. You will also act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering recommendations for process improvements, risk mitigation, and strategic decision-making.
