We are looking for an experienced store manager for our luxury brand store located in Hyde Park Mall, Johannesburg.
You must be able to run the store successfully, working on the shop floor, being in constant contact with customers and staff. You must ensure that all staff give great customer service and you must also deal with the financial side of the store and people management.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
- managing budgets
- maintaining statistical and financial records
- dealing with customer queries and complaints
- overseeing stock control
- maximising profitability and meeting sales targets
- ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- preparing promotional materials and displays
Salary is negotiable between 12 and 15K per month plus commission and provident fund.
You must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar field in luxury retail.
