- Lead the editorial workflow of Coding & Robotics and all Computer Science related subject projects from manuscript to final product (print and digital).
- Ensure editorial quality by applying proofreading, copy-editing, and typesetting standards in all language versions.
- Maintain alignment with MMLs editorial policy and curriculum requirements.
- Coordinate the localisation (not direct translation) of Coding & Robotics and all Computer Science related subject content in all official languages, ensuring clarity and curriculum alignment.
- Collaborate with language experts to maintain consistency in Coding & Robotics and all Computer Science related subject terminology and instructional language.
- Conduct or facilitate editorial training sessions for SMEs, authors, and reviewers.
- Work closely with Publishers, Language Specialists, and Product Coordinators to manage timelines and content requirements.
- Engage with external freelancers (editors, typesetters, proofreaders, etc.) to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Provide editorial leadership and problem-solving for issues related to language, content clarity, and layout.
- Implement a rigorous editorial and QA process, including checks, language reviews, and inclusive audits, for Coding & Robotics and all Computer Science related subjects.
- Conduct final product checks before signoff of products, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal tools like editorial checklists and style guides tailored for multilingual products.
- Maintain and update WIP trackers for Coding & Robotics and all Computer Science related subjects in each language and phase.
- Provide regular status updates to the Publisher and escalate risks or bottlenecks proactively.
- Monitor project budgets in collaboration with the Publisher.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Coding & Robotics.
- At least 3 years experience in educational publishing or editorial management.
- Strong understanding of the Curriculum and language policy in education.
- Experience in working with teachers and learners at school level is not required but would be beneficial.
