Mirabilis a subsidiary of Santam has a position available for a Internal Marketer who will be based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
The main purpose of this position is to manage (Sales and Underwriting) the Johannesburg branchs Brokers under R250, 000 GWP portfolio and provide support to the existing Regional Marketing Manager.
Key Functions - Marketer (Sales and Underwriting)
- Issuing of quotations within agreed mandate
- Assist Current Broker to increase business growth
- Educate current brokers on engineering insurance products
- Maintain Current Broker relationship
- Solving of queries on instruction between various departments and from brokers
- Provide renewal review and terms assistance to Administration department team.
- Portfolio premium growth and loss ratio management
- Search and recruit new Broker relationship in the market
- Power point presentation preparation
- Material Preparation for training functions
- Research for Marketing Presentations
- Team coordination within marketing department
Upon appointment
- Matric
- Engineering Degree or Business related qualification
- Must have a minimum of 3 years Engineering Insurance Underwriting and Sales Experience
- First Level Regulatory Examination
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
- Valid drivers license advantageous
- Preferably at least 1 year quoting experience
- Various practical industry courses and on the job coaching
- Training on engineering insurance products
- Continuous development of interpersonal skills
- FAIS Compliant Rep Register
- Well-spoken and confident
- Public speaker
