Who You Are
The ideal candidate is a highly-organised, bright, positive-minded individual who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. They will need to be a fast learner and open to new challenges and opportunities to grow. Ideally, the candidate will live and breathe beautiful content and be visual and creative, with a high level of attention to detail. They will need to be strong on spelling and grammar, as well as present themselves professionally.
A degree or diploma in marketing, communications or journalism and experience in a marketing role is desired.
You will work closely with the marketing manger to hit group targets and goals.
This is an entry-level, junior role with room for long term growth and opportunities for more responsibility. It is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns and undertake ad-hoc marketing projects
- Assist with maintaining the website, social media, blog platforms and mail database systems
- Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes
- Reputation and community management
- Content management
- Reporting
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with marketing software
- Experience using Meta: Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Youtube
- Experience using Google: sheets, docs, mybusiness, analytics etc.
- Experience using Adobe suite desired but not essential
- Basic understanding of html
- Hands on experience in a marketing role desired but not essential
