Role Purpose

Provide administrative support to the marketing team in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and plans, managing the financial process in support of the marketing strategy.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience in marketing or related field (essential)
  • Relevant marketing and product training, financial systems

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Processes:
  • Collaborate with and support the marketing team to execute the marketing strategy and enable sales growth.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team to ensure efficient function of the team.
  • Coordinate the production of various marketing collateral for print, digital and other media in association with service providers.
  • Maintain marketing databases with relevant information, for ease and efficiency of use within the marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis and customer preferences.
  • Provide assistance with the execution marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies in line with the agreed budget and report on expenses and spend.
  • Assist with the quality checking of marketing material to ensure alignment to brief and marketing plan and maintain promotional materials inventory, where necessary.
  • Monitor and report on performance of marketing efforts through analytics tools
  • Manage budgets for marketing projects and track spending
  • Organise marketing files and documentation to ensure that the correct level of authority has authorised the document.
  • Process daily and monthly financial transactions in line with procedure and within agreed timeframes, to ensure timely reconciliations and reporting.
  • Accurately allocate all cashbook transactions to ensure accurate month-end reporting.
  • Process and upload journals within agreed timeframes, in adherence to guidelines.
  • Contribute to the audit process and resolve any audit queries within deadlines.
  • Adhere to financial controls and mitigate financial risks.
  • Processing of monthly creditors payments according to a payment schedule.
Client:
