Marketing Officer

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who will be able to fulfill the following requirements:

Plan, co-ordinate and execute the promotional plan for the Business Unit
Lead with the development of company marketing material including the area newsletters.
Support in the coordination of national external marketing campaigns.
Conducting market research and keeping up-to-date with the latest entrepreneurship trends and competitors in the unit, and preparing reports on this.
Report on marketing activity progress
Close out reports on all events
Marketing administrative duties such as supplier liaison, payment processing and database maintenance.
Develop and manage the marketing budget.
Identify and propose marketing opportunities that may be relevant to increasing deal flow for the unit

Desired Experience & Qualification

The Successful Candidate Should Have

A 3 year marketing degree/ diploma or related studies.
1-3 years' experience in public relations and/ or marketing and event management in a corporate environment.
Valid Licence and own Transport
Excellent writing skills.
Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems.
Proficiency in Social media platforms, Microsoft Office, including MS-Word, MS-Excel and PowerPoint.
Good time management and multi-tasking skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work in a diverse team.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing would be an advantage.
