The Role

Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire (you?!) this role does require that you are based within -8/+2 UTC.

What You'll Do

We will look to you for data collection, maintaining our attribution model, building of reports and dashboards, and analysis of marketing related data. You will act as the data steward for the marketing team by becoming a domain expert in our marketing data sources and providing insights and advice to the marketing team based on the data we have available.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, drive outcomes, and work in a critical area to support the entire marketing team
  • Manage operational processes for marketing analytics to provide clear tracking and clean data from lead to revenue
  • Build, maintain and improve the reports needed to run the marketing organization on a day-to-day basis using Looker, Salesforce and other data sources
  • Develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes to improve our marketing reporting
  • Collaborate with Oyster's Website Manager to improve web to lead conversion flows through data that connect our website with HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Lead and initiate key projects to improve our data hygiene, and iterate on our attribution model
What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced marketing operations professional who is equally comfortable in strategy and execution. As our business grows, we need someone with the ability and foresight to help us scale our operations across the board. We're eager to find someone who enjoys a collaborative, cross-functional challenge and who delights in working on high-impact marketing foundations.

The ideal candidate has at least some experience in B2B SaaS with exposure into high-growth environments. A bit more about you...
  • You have 4+ years' experience in a digital marketing analytics or marketing operations
  • Proficiency in Looker (or comparable Business Intelligence tool)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Hubspot (or comparable MAP), Google Ads, marketing operations processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the marketing and sales organizations
  • Detail-oriented and accurate; enjoys problem solving and being challenged
  • Experience building data infrastructure (dbt, ETL, working with data teams)
  • Works well under deadlines, with the ability to identify and communicate issues quickly
