Job Purpose:

The key purpose of this role is to support the Africa Zone with Master Data creation and maintenance within the various ERP systems (SAP, Syspro and S4 Hana) ensuring quality adherence and timely delivery.

The Master Data Specialist - Logistics supports their function in the following way;

ERP Creation and Maintenance

• Execute requests for Material and Customer Master Data creation in the ERPs for Africa Zone
• Execute requests for Material and Customer Master Data maintenance in the ERPs for Africa Zone
• Ensure the process for execution is followed diligently
• Operate with integrity and honesty
• Abide by MICs & SOX requirements
• Ensure Master Data quality is maintained to a very high standard
• Analyse gaps or issues within the master data and provide solutions to correct
• Manage the requestors to submit correctly and within process
• Provide visibility on master data quality via reports

Admin/General

• Respond to SNOW tickets timeously and within the SLA
• Master Data quality managed for assigned stakeholders
• SOPs documenting & maintained
• Track and monitor progress on open tickets
• Drive Engagement in the team & NoCC
• Provide training and support to new members

Master Data Transformation

• Work together with the CI team to transform master data processes and enhance technologies
• Understand the end to end business processes to automate master data maintenance and creation.
• Understand master data business rules in order to develop master data quality scorecards

Experience

• End to end material master data processes
• Understand the standard pricing process for finish goods/raw materials and the impact to P&L.

Profile:

• Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related degree
• Computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Powerpoint)
• ERP Skills advantageous (SAP, S4 or Syspro)
