Face Shovel Mechanic

needed in the Northern Cape.

Required:

• Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate. N2 Passed (Diesel Trade Theory subject) Matric/ Grade 12.
• Valid Drivers License & Own Vehicle.

All documents MUST be included with CV.

Salary: R25000 R60 000 (Depending on experience).

Experience / Role:

• 3 Years minimum working experience Post Trade on opencast earthmoving equipment.
• 3 Years minimum working experience on Face Shovel Loading Equipment.
• Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies.
• Breakdown and planned maintenance.
• Fault-finding.
• Requisition of parts needed.
• Job cards.
• Follow up on breakdowns.
• General tidiness and good housekeeping of site and other areas of responsibility.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines as determined by the Supervisor. Basic problem solving & basic self-management skills.

Machines, Duties, Responsibilities & Reasons for Leaving at each Company MUST be listed on CV. Fully bilingual.
