Company Description
Micron Milling is a company that started with spice milling machinery. The company has since then expanded into multidisciplinary engineering mainly in the food and automation industry. We build a variety of machines, some with automation integrated using Omron PLC’s and instrumentation. We specialise in design and manufacturing of special purpose machinery, with exposure to various unique projects according to client specifications.
We are looking for someone who can fill a number of technical roles within the company. The main requirement is previous exposure to mechanical CAD design.
Role Description
- CAD design and draft using Solidworks
- Providing drawings for the workshop and checking correct procedures is followed
- Quality check on manufactured parts
- Assembly of machine components
- Willingness to work in front of a computer and with your hands
- Site maintenance and occasional travelling
Knowledge And Skills
- 1-3 years experience with mechanical CAD design is mandatory
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics degree is advantageous
- CNC machining experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of PLC programming is advantageous
- Computer programming experience is advantageous
Electrical panel building experience is advantageous
