Unit Manager Paediatrics

Multidisciplinary facility requires a passionate UM who will take responsibility for coordinating nursing care in the Paediatric Ward.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating capacity building, mentoring and training.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Investigate all negative incidents and ensure appropriate capturing.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and regularly maintained.
• Ensure the unit is providing safe, cost effective quality patient care.
• Evaluate patient's journey through patient experience and stakeholder input.
• Evaluate nursing quality indicators.
• Orientation of new staff and students.

Key Requirements

• A relevant diploma relating to Paediatric Intensive Care.
• Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• 3-5 years experience in a private hospital.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical leadership/ management.
• Sound financial knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data.
